Girma and Denise are getting ready for bed at the Ethiopia Guest Home. All the Queen sized beds are being used so Denise pulled the mattresses off the bunk beds and set them next to each other so they can snuggle tonight.
Girma is now coloring a picture of a monkey and doing a great job. Denise sounds exhausted but very happy. It's so great and amazing to hear Denise laugh with Girma. Girma says "Hi Babba, I love you" (all in one word) and "Bye Bye Babba" (again, all sounding like one word).
Girma has been busy playing with bouncy balls, beading a necklace for himself and bracelets for me and Denise, feeding his stuffed Tigger a potato chip, and putting Denise's headlamp on and watching the light play on the ceiling.
Other interesting notes: Denise said the food at the orphanages is spicy, even the sauce on the rice.
